If date scanning can't see anything, enable access in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera > ExpiresBy.

Reminders aren't showing up. Open iOS Settings > Notifications > ExpiresBy and make sure notifications are allowed. You can also set your preferred reminder timing inside the app's Settings.
Date scanning isn't reading the label. Make sure the date is well lit and in focus, and that ExpiresBy has camera permission. You can always type or adjust the date manually.
How do I back up my items? Go to Settings > Backup to export your inventory to a file, then store it in Files or iCloud Drive. Import the same file on a new device to restore.
Will I lose my data if I delete the app? Your data is stored on-device, so deleting the app removes it. Export a backup first if you want to keep it.
